Once again I hit my favorite crochet site...Ravelry and whipped up a few more hats. The light gray one above is cute but a horrible color on me, I need to make it in a different color in hopes that I like it better...fortunately the hats are not for me...I'm sending them off to Chicago with my bosses.
Hopefully it keeps their head and ears warm...

I'm not sure exactly which pattern I used for the light gray one but once I figure it out I will link it here...

This brown one is way cute...hard to give it up but I guess I can make another one for myself (I'm so selfish!) It's called In Bloom Beret or Cap, I used Vanna' Choice yarn.

And for my favorite... a cable hat done in crochet...so easy and so cute.... go to this web site for the pattern Rheatheylia She has some great patterns and easy to read. I used Lyon Brand "wool-ease" yarn for this hat...so soft and warm...another must have for my stash!
.....Totally Random Thought.....
Is my nose too big to get pierced??? I really, really want to do that when I don't have a "serious" job...but by then I may be too old.

I finished up a couple more crochet projects. All patterns are from the Ravelry website. The orange one is for my sister-in-law who loves the color orange. This is the broomstick lace pattern. It took awhile to figure out the technique but I really like the way it turned out.

I had a little extra orange yarn so I made a headband with a flower on it. I just made it up as I went, then made a little flower, added a button and finished it off with some elastic. My daughter wasn't really interested in wearing it for pictures so I only got one shot and you really can't see it...sorry. I think it was cute and plan on making more with scrap yarn.
Here's a horrible picture of me in a hat I made for a friend. I don't know how to take a picture without a shadow in the background (it is driving me crazy). This is Woman's Granny Hat" which I added a big flower to the front. The pattern is here.
The gray scarf was a gift. Apparently it is a design that one of the character in the Harry Potter's series wears but I thought it was a great design. Go here for the pattern. Turned out cute.

I made this scarf for my aunt's birthday. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and love that it only took one skein. She only had one scarf so it was time for something new to freshen-up her winter accessories! I got my pattern off of www.ravelry.com my favorite website for crochet and knitting patterns and ideas. If you a yarn crafter you need to check it out!

I crocheted this scarf for Toby's Kindergarten teacher. She is always wearing these colors so I thought it would work for her. I hope she likes it and doesn't think it is a typical "teacher gift" and send it to the Goodwill!

I used my lovely lamp shade as a model!! The pattern is from Lyon brand yarn. I used Vanna Choice yarn. It takes 5 skeins of yarn but I have enough extra to make a multi-color hat or scarf.
