Love to make Sugar cookies for the Holiday's
Here are the one's for Halloween.Here's the Recipe....

1 cup Butter or Margarine-room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
With mixer beat butter and sugar until fluffy, Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt stir until combined. Dived into 2 disks and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill 30 minutes. Heat oven to 350 degrees. On floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Bake 10 minutes or until edges start to turn golden brown.
Royal Icing:
2 1/4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 Tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp. Meringue powder
3 Tbsp. warm water
Combine all ingredients in mixer with wisk attachment and mix on low speed until blended. Increase to medium speed and beat until icing holds thick and soft peaks about 4-6 minutes.
*If icing is too thick or dry add a few drops of water. If to runny add powdered sugar.
Tint with food coloring gel and decorate as desired.
